Another step for configuring your Cloud Server is choosing the Hypervisor: this choice is fundamental as it will not be possible to change it in the future.

The hypervisor is a virtual machine manager, it is therefore the main component of a system based on the virtualisation of resources.

The choice of the hypervisor affects the availability or not of some operating systems and their different versions: therefore, it is advisable to check the operating systems available for every hypervisor offered.

Another parameter for choosing the hypervisor, if you already use virtual machines locally, is being able to import virtual machine images: it is necessary to maintain the hypervisor already used locally, since it is not possible to use images created with different hypervisors.
